HUDO Verification

Someone shared a conversation with you. Upload the record file and ALICE will tell you whether its wording still matches what was recorded when the conversation happened — including whether any turn was edited or removed. No account is needed.

This is the .json file downloaded from a conversation's Raw tab. A copied-and-pasted transcript cannot be verified. (Maximum size: 5 MB)

What happens to the file you upload

Verification is performed in memory. The uploaded file is parsed, compared against the recorded digests, and discarded when the response is returned; no part of it is written to disk or stored in the database. The requesting IP address and the time of the request are recorded for rate limiting.

When each turn of a conversation is written, ALICE records a fingerprint of its exact text. Verification recomputes that fingerprint from the text in your file and compares the two. Changing a single character changes the fingerprint, so edited wording is reported. A turn that was deleted from the file leaves a recorded fingerprint with nothing to match, so removals are reported too.

What this does not prove: the fingerprints are computed with a secret held by this server, so the check is something ALICE performs rather than something you can reproduce independently. It establishes that a record matches, not that the underlying conversation was truthful or that the recorded time is accurate — time evidence comes separately from the RFC 3161 timestamps in the full audit view.
